I am a New Yorker by choice- by which I mean, even though I moved here for a job (teaching at Touro Law) I wouldn't have even sent a resume if I didn't want to live here. I moved here in early August 2011.
In my spare time, I like exploring New York (or wherever else I happen to be), politics, writing (mostly about urbanism and related issues), photography, and baking. I also enjoy spending time with my nieces and their parents (and my parents too!) in Atlanta.
I grew up celebrating holidays but not much more, but have gradually moved towards greater observance over the past decade or so.
- What I am looking for:

Should enjoy celebrating Shabbos and other holidays. I love a great smile. Should be someone who values urban (as opposed to suburban) life. Religiously, should be willing to keep a kosher home; other differences in either direction are, I think, easier to accommodate.
I think I want children, or at least I want the possibility of children. So marrying someone who is definitely too old to have children is, at this stage of my life, something I would want to think twice about.
